Director- Operations

1. JOB DESCRIPTION
• To promote trade between Zimbabwe and other countries.
• To develop new exports, by market and product, for Zimbabwe.
• To advise Government on matters related to international trade and trade related investments.
• To oversee day-to-day operations; to ensure compliance with regulatory & statutory requirements & policies.
• To promote effective partnerships between Government, Private Sector & Development Coop Partners. • To develop and manage Staff
• To promote visibility and image of the Organisation.

2. KEY DELIVERABLES / ESSENTIAL OUTCOMES

• Improve the ease of doing export business and assist industry to become export competitive.
• Oversee the provision of market intelligence to exporters.
• Contribute to the increase in the export of value added products and services.
• Develop appropriate export development and promotion interventions to support exporters.
•Facilitate the provision of affordable funding to potential and established exporters.
•Ensure compliance with sound corporate governance practices, regulations and applicable laws.
•Responsible for the measurement, assessment and improvement of the Division’s performance.

3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED First degree in a Business Studies .

• Relevant Master’s degree in the field, MBA will be on added advantage.
• 5-10 years in a Management role.
