DATA CAPTURE CLERK – First Mutual Health

Key Responsibilities

• Indexing membership forms into the appropriate platforms
• Verifying and updating membership application forms to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Capturing accurately all membership forms and email instructions in a timely manner
• Checking membership statuses in the system to determine if they are active or terminated
• Processing terminations of members, dependents, and payers as instructed
• Conducting field-by-field verification to ensure captured data matches the source documents

Requirements

• A Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management or a related field
• A Certificate of Proficiency (an added advantage)
• Proficiency in computer applications
• At least 6 months’ experience in data capturing
• Familiarity with the HIP system is an added advantage
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
