NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to recruit highly motivated, outstanding and results-oriented individuals to fill the following positions. ⸻ Cybersecurity Operations Centre Engineer Reporting to the Security Operations Centre Specialist Key Job Purpose To monitor, detect, analyse and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents within the organisation’s Security Operations Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Monitor SIEM alerts, logs and dashboards, and detect, triage, validate and classify security events and incidents.
  • 2. Investigate and respond to incidents with containment and recovery in line with SOC procedures, escalating high-risk incidents and performing threat hunting.
  • 3. Support digital forensics, document incidents, and tune alerts and monitoring rules to improve detection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Must have a Security Operations certification such as:
  • CompTIA CySA+
  • EC-Council Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)
  • Microsoft SC-200
  • Knowledge of SIEM and SOC processes, Active Directory, GPO, incident response, digital forensics and ISO 27001.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ relevant working experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience.
