Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process patient payments, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and checks.
- Ensure the daily maintenance and balancing of the cash drawer, verifying that all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries and provide clear, accurate information regarding their accounts.
- Generate receipts and other financial documents as required.
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and questions with a friendly and professional demeanour.

Requirements
- A diploma/degree in accounting or equivalent
- 3 years proven experience as a cashier, of which 2 years should be from a medical or healthcare environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, ERP, OmniSol
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding practices is preferred but not required.
