Key Responsibilities

• 1. Daily Cash Management: Record and reconcile all cash, card, and mobile money transactions for each station.
• 2. Banking: Prepare bank deposits, manage bank runs, and perform weekly bank reconciliations for all 4 stations.
• 3. Expense Tracking: Capture and classify all station expenses including fuel purchases, salaries, maintenance, and utilities.
• 4. Sales & Stock Reconciliation: Reconcile daily sales reports with dip readings, pump readings, and POS reports to identify variances.
• 5. Compliance: Monitor due dates for all operating permits, trading licenses, and local authority fees.
• 6. ZIMRA Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, QPDs, and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
• 7. Reporting: Produce weekly cash position reports and monthly profit & loss summaries per station for management review.
• 8. Petty Cash: Manage and reconcile petty cash floats at each station.
• 9. Internal Controls: Flag any discrepancies, shortages, or irregular transactions immediately to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in retail, fuel, or FMCG.
• Working knowledge of ZIMRA tax processes including VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Pastel, or Odoo.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between stations
• Studying towards ACCA is an added advantage
