A job vacancy has arisen in our organization for the position of Assistant Accountant reporting to the Financial Accountant. The Job will be on a fixed term contract.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To assist the Accountant with all accounting activities professionally.
• To assist with the preparation of management accounts and reports timeously.
• To assist with all audits.
• To report the relationship between monthly contributions and claims.
• To assist in ensuring statutory liquidity and solvency.
• To collect contributions and pay claims timeously

Qualifications and Experience

• 30 – 45 years old and honest.
• Class 4 driver’s licence.
• Ms Excel skills
• Must be mathematical
• Higher National Diploma in Accountancy/CIS/CIMA.
• Experience in preparing books of accounts.
