Suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates are invited to apply for the position of AI & ML Specialist which has arisen in Technology Services Department.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Technology Innovations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among others:

Monitoring the banks existing AI projects.
Implementing improvements, modifications and optimizations in line with the banks strategic objectives.
Evaluating new technologies, techniques, vendor partners, and introducing best practices to solve optimization/prescriptive business problems.
Generating innovations to solve business needs and technical challenges using AI & ML.
Conducting logical analyses of business and other technical problems and formulating mathematical models of problems for solution by computers.
Designing and developing machine learning algorithms.
Preparing and analysing historical data and identifying patterns.
Participating in team design meetings, daily scrum meetings, and other development meetings.
Ensuring Systems and Applications are in compliance with regulatory bodies such as RBZ, PCI, ZimSwitch

Skills and Experience

Proven experience and detailed knowledge with AI & ML Tools.
Excellent project and time management skills
Attention to detail
Experience with TensorFlow is an advantage
Detailed knowledge of NLP Frameworks (Dialogflow, Watson, Lex, Wit etc)
Problem Resolving and analytical skills.
3 to 4 years of professional experience in programming, particularly in enterprise application development.

Educational Qualifications

First Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Informatics.
At least 2 AI/ ML related Certifications.
