Key Responsibilities

• Daily processing of credit notes.
• Daily allocation of customer receipts to relevant invoices.
• Regular generation and distribution of customer statements (e.g., weekly, bi-monthly).
• Conducting outbound calls and sending emails to customers with overdue accounts.
• Investigating and resolving customer queries related to invoices, payments, and statements.
• Performing monthly reconciliation of the debtors’ ledger to the general ledger.
• Preparing aging analysis reports and other debtor-related reports for management.
• Effective oversight of the entire debtor’s ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding funds.
• Maintaining accurate and reconciled customer accounts to prevent discrepancies and disputes.
• Providing insightful reports and analysis on debtor performance to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the Accounting field.
• Strong command of spoken English.
• Proficiency in SAGE is an added advantage.
