Job Description

Responsible for carrying out financial audits, reconciling bank statements and ensuring that financial records are accurate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Controlling income and expenditure
• Preparing financial statements and budgets
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Analyzing accounts and business plans
• Submission of medical aid forms
• Following up on payments from medical aid companies
• Preparing and submission of daily medical aid report, cash report, treasury report and sales report
• Responsible for timely payment of all statutory returns

Qualifications and Experience

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Professional qualification like ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and and good analytical skills
• Experience in medical field a Distinct Advantage
• At least 3 years experience in similar position
• Knowledge of accounting software like Pastel an added advantage
