Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Track and analyze the cost of raw materials, production, and packaging for canned goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate valuation using FIFO, LIFO, or weighted average methods.
• Reconcile physical stock with financial records.
• Assist in preparing budgets for the manufacturing and sales departments.
• Provide financial forecasts and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, including VAT/GST, excise duties, and other food-sector specific levies.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor receivables from distributors and customers.
• Oversee payables for suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and logistics.
• Generate cost efficiency reports and suggest areas for financial improvement.
• Provide insights on margins, production costs, and profitability by product line or SKU.

Requirements

• Must have extensive experience with Odoo Accounting Package.
• Must have experience working in FMCG industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, food production, or manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and food industry compliance.
