Key Responsibilities
- The incumbent will be responsible for managing project financial disbursements.
- Verifying contractual and compliance documentation.
- Prepare monthly project cost reports, budget variance analyses and cash flow forecasts for project management and senior leadership.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are tracked against approved project plans and milestones.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and procurement teams to ensure financial data reflects actual project progress.
- Manage project-specific accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and company financial policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of three (3)to five (5)years’ experience in accounting, project finance, disbursement management, or related financial roles.
- Experience working with bank-funded projects, infrastructure projects, or donor-funded projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and contract administration.
