Key Responsibilities
- Advising on labour laws, workplace policies, and employment contracts to ensure legal compliance.
- Handling employee grievances and disciplinary cases.
- Promoting good working relationships between management, employees, and unions to maintain a harmonious workplace.
- Updating HR policies to reflect changes in labour legislation and organisational needs.
- Maintaining accurate records of disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, and labour meetings.
- Coordinating training sessions for staff on workplace rights, conflict resolution, and labour relations matters.
- Monitoring changes in labour laws and advise the HR Manager on necessary actions to keep the organisation compliant.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Organisational Development, Social Science.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Human Resource and Labour Laws.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
