The Mining Promotion Corporation (MPC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and committed professionals to take up positions in its structures. MPC is a professional and economic mineral exploration and development company with title to a portfolio of diversified mineral properties in all the Mining Districts in Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting field-based data collection.
  • Collecting, recording and analysing sampling data.
  • Conducting staff training.
  • Carrying out data quality control and assurance.
  • Supervision of subordinate staff.
  • Maintain and disseminate accurate survey and other relevant information.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Geology.
  • Proven experience as an exploration Field Officer will be considered.
  • 2-5 years in exploration or mining.
  • Hands-on experience with some GIS software an added advantage.
  • Experience in operating airborne geophysics equipment will be an added advantage.
  • A clean Class 4 Driver’s licence, ability to drive a 4×4 manual transmission a must.
