We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team based in Shamva This position reports to the Electrical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and routine maintenance inspections and servicing of LV/MV switchgears, MCCs, transformers, VSDs/soft starters, hoists, pumps, conveyors, crushers, ventilation fans, and lighting to OEM specs and site Planned Maintenance schedules.
- Attend to breakdowns within your area of responsibility, diagnosing faults, replace/repair motors, contactors, breakers, relays, sensors, cabling, and terminations; restore systems safely and quickly to minimize downtime.
- Condition monitoring: Record load currents, temperatures, insulation resistance, vibration cues (electrical), and breaker trip data; flag trends and propose component changeouts.
- Ensure and enforce all housekeeping and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within work areas always.
- Documentation: Complete work orders, update as built drawings/loop sheets, maintain asset histories, and capture failure modes in the CMMS.
Requirements
- 5 O ‘Level passes including Mathematics, English and Science
- Class 1 Electrician Journeyman Certificate or equivalent trade qualification
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
