Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily processing operations.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Develop and implement processing plans, strategies, and budgets to optimize production and minimize costs
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives
Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgy / Mine Engineering / Mine Management or related field.
- Proven experience in mine management in Zimbabwe specifically at a gold plant.
- Proven experience with CIP and heap leaching
- Valid Blasting license.
- Strong technical knowledge of processing operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions
