The Manicaland Centre for Public Health Research at BRTI is seeking a motivated and organized Project Administration Assistant to support the administration of our field-based scientific research. Our research focuses on HIV prevention, healthcare access, and public health policy development in east Zimbabwe.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate ethical and regulatory applications for research projects.

Perform HR functions, including staff coordination and documentation.

Manage payments for utilities and property rentals.

Handle procurement of fieldwork materials and equipment.
-
Distribute project materials and oversee asset management.
-
Ensure upkeep of field offices, staff residences, and properties.

Organize conferences, workshops, and related logistics.
-
Supervise general hand staff at the Centre.

Act as Personal Assistant to the Centre Director and Research Operations Director.
Qualifications and Experience:

Higher National Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.

Experience supporting research projects will be an added advantage.

Proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools.

Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
-
Willingness to travel when needed.
-
Clean Class 4 Driver’s License required.
