JOB TITLE: EXECUTIVE OFFICER HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES

REPORTS TO: THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Degree from a recognised university in Administration, Social Science or Local government.
• A Degree in Agriculture.
• At least 3 years relevant post qualification experience in middle management in an administrative or social science position.
• Knowledge of Campfire and Wildlife Activities and control of Natural resources must and Local Government experience is an added advantage.
• At least 30 years and mature.
• Knowledge of computer packages a must.
• A clean criminal record.
• A citizen of Zimbabwe.
• A clean record of service within the local Government fraternity

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• To direct, budget, and create public health-related initiatives that improve community welfare.
• Analyse data collected about their local community.
• Identify gaps where social services are needed.
• Liaising with clerical, medical and professional staff at all levels
• Ensuring services meet national standards
• Making sure regulations are followed
• Provide technical leadership in the area of natural resources management
• Evaluate options with clients and Campfire Committees and design deliverables that reflect donor and beneficiary client needs.
