Systems Support Assistant
1. Technical Duties
1.1 Conduct Technical implementation, configuration and testing of IT systems effectively and efficiently.
1.2. Manage projects efficiently and provide ad-hoc project status updates to project team members and management.
1.3. Create and maintain user accounts and profiles.
2. Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management
2.1. Identify project risks, any arising issues and communicate these to relevant stakeholders in order to facilitate the rectifying of such. Provide recommendations where necessary and appropriate.
2.2 Identify and document customer requirements and specifications and communicate these to stakeholders to ensure effective customer care.
2.3. Collaborate with end users, Identify and report requested system changes by clients to ensure client satisfaction at all times.
2.4. Collaborate with developers and project technical staff to ensure the systems constantly operate efficiently and meet the needs of end users at all times.
3. Capacity Building/ Training and Development
3.1. Conduct training needs analysis by engaging clients and stakeholders and noting training needs and communicating these to management and stakeholders.
3.2. Develop training schedules and conduct training and support for end users to ensure effective use of IT systems.
3.3. Develop Standard Operating procedures to enable users to effectively use the systems.
Requirements
1.Diploma in IT, Information Systems and at least two (2) years related experience.
2.Very strong IT acumen
3.Ability to keep abreast with changes in technology
4.Effective team workmanship
5.Strong leadership and team management capabilities
6.Project management skills
7.Effective communication skills, both oral and written, presentation skills
8.Detail oriented and ability to work with minimum supervision
