Key Responsibilities
- Develops accounting procedures, internal control systems and guidelines on how best to provide financial information.
- Coordinates, analyses and consolidates financial reports.
- Coordinates capitalization of completed projects.
- Ensures effective costing of all jobs.
- Formulates effective internal controls for REF Central Stores.
- Consolidates and maintains the Fund’s Fixed Asset Register.
- Implements budgetary controls for the Fund.
- Investigates stock variances and implements corrective actions.
- Ensures that REF’s Chart of Accounts is properly maintained.
- Carries out effective inventory management at Central Stores.
- Ensures that both internal and external audits are done properly.
- Supervises and carries out performance appraisals on staff.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Full Professional Qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA or CIS.
- SAP experience is a must.
- Five years relevant experience
- Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence
