The Finance Manager will report to the Finance Executive and will provide financial leadership by driving business performance through effective financial planning, reporting, controls, and strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic business insights to support business decision making.
  • Ensure effective financial controls, risk management, and compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost optimisation initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Oversee internal and external audit activities, ensuring audit readiness, effective collaboration with stakeholders, and alignment with the organization’s compliance standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or an equivalent qualification.
  • A professional accounting qualification such as CA(Z) or equivalent.
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive finance experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
