The Finance Manager will report to the Finance Executive and will provide financial leadership by driving business performance through effective financial planning, reporting, controls, and strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Provide financial analysis and strategic business insights to support business decision making.
Ensure effective financial controls, risk management, and compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost optimisation initiatives to improve business performance.
Oversee internal and external audit activities, ensuring audit readiness, effective collaboration with stakeholders, and alignment with the organization’s compliance standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial systems, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or an equivalent qualification.
A professional accounting qualification such as CA(Z) or equivalent.
A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive finance experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
