The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Human Resources Graduate Trainee in the Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Handling employee grievances in line with the Grievance procedure.
  • Supporting in training and performance management processes.
  • Assisting in administering employee benefits and reward management.
  • Producing and submitting reports on general Human Resources activities.
  • Assisting in drafting Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Supporting day-to-day Human Resources and administrative operations.
  • Supporting employee wellness programmes and engagement initiatives.
  • Monitoring compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with departments to support HR initiatives.
  • Facilitating exit interviews and completing staff termination paperwork.
  • Performing periodic audits of personnel files and Human Resources records.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR files and records.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Human Resources Management principles and practices.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year working experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
  • Relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
