Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Human Resources strategies, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and enforce the implementation of the HR strategies, policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and talent development of HR personnel.
  • Develop and implement annual work plans for the Human Resources Department.
  • Develop and implement annual training plan to address skills gaps within the Office of the Master.
  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of a performance management system to enhance achievement of set Office goals.
  • Oversee staff welfare as per the office of the Master’s policies.
  • Oversee salary administration and management.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of HR information management system.
  • Control the head count to align with the Office budgets.
  • Recommend improvement of conditions of service to enhance retention of key staff.
  • Develop and implement the Office succession plans for critical positions.
  • Implement Audit reports recommendations.
  • Provide HR input into the annual budget for the Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is a prerequisite.
  • At least 5 – 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 3 years in managerial or leadership role.
  • Must have strong knowledge of payroll systems.
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation, HR policies, and employment regulations.
  • Professional certification in HR (IPMZ or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, performance management and employee relations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
