WEB DESIGNER, APP DEVELOPER and SOCIAL MEDIA EXPECT

We looking to employ a Digital Multimedia Expert & Web Designer to join our marketing team. We also looking for a highly creative, innovative, dynamic individual that has a passion for combining his/her artistic skills within the Digital space.

The ideal candidate will have solid graphic design experience, but must also either have front end web development experience or would like to get involved in combining their graphic and artistic design experience with web development.

It will be expected from the incumbent to combine his/her artistic skills in the following platforms: Website front ends, Social Media Pages, Blogs & Html E mailers

Applicant must have:

At least three years working experience in the Social Media Marketing space
Proven experience in Web design and Web development (UX/UI), will be highly desirable.
Art as a subject or interest in either school or tertiary level will be a major advantage

Qualifications

A relevant diploma / degree in related field.

Minimum three years in web and graphic design.

Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.

Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript. PHP would be beneficial.

Good understanding of content management systems (WordPress, Joomla is necessary and Umbraco beneficial).

Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.

Excellent visual design skills.

Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.

Creative and open to new ideas.

Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
