Hellenic Academy is a co-educational secondary school in Harare, Zimbabwe, renowned for its excellence in academics, sports, and cultural programs. Key Responsibilities

Report directly to Head and two Deputy Headmasters.
Counsel and Guide Sixth Form pupils regarding their university choices. (Some counselling may take place in the afternoons.)
Assist students with their university applications, by guiding them through the process, and preparing all necessary documentation for their application.
Organise and host appropriate university visits and fairs to expose students to various options.
Ensure you remain up to date on the current situation within the university landscape.
Deliver a Life Skills program in the Sixth Form which is appropriate and relevant to the age group.
Contribute positively to the afternoon co-curricular programme and wider school activities.

Requirements

Knowledge of UCAS, Studielink and The Common Application systems.
Experience in dealing with Sixth Form students with empathy and understanding.
Times Higher Education Counsellor Qualification would be an added advantage.
Experience in organising and hosting university visits and fairs.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
