Zuva Petroleum (Pvt) Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Treasury Manager based in Harare.
Qualifications And Experience
• A degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or related from a recognised University Impartial and trustworthy • An Accounting professional qualification will be an added advantage. • Knowledge of Syspro ERP System will be an added advantage. • A minimum of three years’ experience, one of which must be at supervisory or managerial level. • Banking experience will be an added advantage.
Duties / Responsibilities
• Evaluate, develop and implement the company’s funding strategy. • Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies • Develop and implement an investment strategy for excess cash to maximise on returns. • Analyze and recommend potential alternative financing structures that are profitable for the business, maintaining acceptable financial ratios. • Plan and manage loan facilities drawdowns/repayments, and utilization of Letters of Credit (LCs) facilities in line with business requirements. • Manage credit facilities and ensure ban covenants compliance. • Manage relationships with financial institutions. • Manage financial risks including foreign exchange rate risk, interest rate risk .d implement h.ge programs and strategies • Oversee day to day treasury activities including cash and debt management, cash flow forecasting, foreign currency purchases, cash book processing and resolving complex treasury issues with banks. • Ensure integrity of the cash book module in the Syspro system, including maintenance of accurate master data and integration to the general ledger. • Approve monthly interest income/expense journals and other accruals. • Review monthly cash book reconciliations and ensuring that reconciling items are cleared on time. • Design and implement systems of controls (procedures, policies and forms) on all treasury operations. • Any other duties as delegated by the team leader.
