Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following post which has fallen vacant.

1. TREASURER/EXECUTIVE OFFICER FINANCE

Requirements

1. A degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Full Chartered Institute of Accounts (CIA)
3. Full Chartered Institute of Secretaries or
4. Full Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
5. Knowledge of computer accounting packages a must (Knowledge of Evolution Accounting software an added advantage)
6. At least 3 years post qualification experience in the middle management accounting position. Local government experience is an added advantage.
7. A clean criminal record and a citizen of Zimbabwe.

Duties

1. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
2. Maintain financial health of Council.
3. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of council finance is maintained.
4. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
