A well-established tourism and travel company is looking for a qualified and results-driven Travel Consultant to join its team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling holiday packages, destination experiences, travel services and air tickets to international and regional clients, with a strong focus on growing the company’s international customer base.

Requirements

A Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism, Tourism Management, Travel Operations, Hospitality or a related field.
Relevant qualification and/or certification in Travel Consulting or Air Ticketing.
Demonstrable experience in travel sales and marketing, preferably within a tour operator, travel agency, destination management company or airline environment.
Experience in selling international holiday packages and air tickets.
Strong knowledge of travel destinations, tourism products and travel industry practices.
Experience working with airline reservation and ticketing systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre or equivalent will be an advantage.
Proven ability to generate leads, convert enquiries into sales and meet sales targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Good computer literacy and familiarity with digital sales and social media platforms.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with international clients and tourism partners.
