Responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of radio communication networks and instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of traffic signals infrastructure, CCTV and electronic equipment.
  • Configuration and programming of radio and repeater systems.
  • Monitors network infrastructure maintenance schedules.
  • Diagnoses and repairs radio network faults.
  • Implements electrical instrumentation monitoring and diagnosis.
  • Installs and maintains medical equipment and PLC-based controllers.
  • Attends instrument faults and performs equipment repairs.
  • Assembles radio and telecommunication systems.
  • Trains apprentices and students.
  • Implements safety and health policies.

Requirements

  • Five ‘O’ Level passes.
  • Higher National Diploma in Electronic Engineering with 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Certification in repeater and radio programming an added advantage.
  • Certification in CCTV installation an added advantage.
  • Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
