JOB SUMMARY
• Doddle Learn is a UK based Company focused on delivering high quality education resources that cover UK and international curricula and are a good fit for current teaching and learning practices.
• The Harare based operation of Doddle will consist of a content writing team and a technical support team. The Technical support team will assist with technical assistance such as helping to animate content.
• The role will work closely with our UK based Content and Editorial Team; therefore, excellent interpersonal skills, good communications and stakeholder management skills will be a prerequisite.
The responsibilities outline above are a summary of the main duties that you should expect to undertake in your role as Technical Editorial Manager, Harare. They should not be viewed as exhaustive and are subject to review and amendment as and when required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a team of up to 8 technical editors.
• Responsible for successful delivery of publishing projects to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
• Work closely with the Content Editorial Manager and Editors to ensure projects are developed in line with key business priorities.
• Competencies in e-learning technologies, animations, gamification and how to apply those for sound pedagogical outcomes.
• Implement efficient technical processes and standards with a view to continuously improve the speed of content production and publication.
• Ensure that the technical requirements of Doddle content is delivered, to brief and on time.
• Be able to train and support across the software used.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Experience in either the education or the academic digital publishing industry.
• Proficiency working with e-learning authoring tools- iSpring and Powerpoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the EdTech industry.
• Teaching experience.
• Experience of working with international markets
• Proven line management experience.
