Key Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will support the department through tutoring, conducting Mathematics and Statistics Clinics and contributing to the overall academic development of the department
  • The successful candidate will be a tutor of the following modules Algebra, Functional Analysis, Geometry, Differential Geometry, Topology, Topological Data Analysis, Number Theory and Complex Analysis
  • In addition, the candidate will support the department through conducting Mathematics Clinics and contributing to the overall academic development of the department
  • The successful candidate will be expected to register for an MPhil in Mathematics, specialising in Algebraic Topology, and to serve in the capacity of Teaching Assistant

Requirements

  • Hold a BSc (Hons) degree with at least an Upper Second Class (2:1) classification in Pure Mathematics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Mathematical Sciences
  • Applicants must have at least of 5 “O” level passes including Mathematics and English Language
  • The applicant must be 30years or below at the time of application
  • Applicant should have graduated no more than two (2) years at the time of applying
