Tax Manager

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Conducting training and preparing the necessary training materials
Preparation of newsletters and thought leadership material
Registration of new clients, mainly with the Revenue Authority and the submission of returns and payment of taxes
Managing accounts for clients and responsibility over obtaining tax clearance certificates
Preparing and lodging of tax returns and computations with the Revenue Authority
Provision of tax advice to clients and other departments
Reviewing the work of consultants/junior consultants

Qualifications and experience
.Fiscal Studies, Business Studies or Law degree holder
.Studying towards or already in possession of a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CA, etc.) will be an advantage
.At least 5 years’ experience as a tax consultant
.Associate/Fellow of the Institute of Certified Tax Accountants
.Solid experience in corporate income capital gains tax employment tax.
.Knowledge of value added tax, customs and excise duties and manpower and standards levies would be an added advantage
.Must be a team player
