Reporting to the ICT Manager, the incumbent will be mainly responsible for the administration of all ICT systems technical environment, related technologies, and applications to ensure maintenance of system performance at optimum levels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing, upgrading, and configuring software and hardware
- Managing network servers and technology tools
- Setting up user accounts and workstations
- Monitoring ICT systems performance and maintaining them according to requirements
- Troubleshooting all ICT related issues and outages
- Ensuring security on all ICT related gadgets through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Upgrading systems with new releases and models Assists in the development of ICT related expertise by training staff
- Assists in the development of technical documentation, manuals and ICT related policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- At least 3 years’ working experience in a related field Professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)), Sophos Firewall, CCNA, Linux is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 NANA is an added advantage
- Proven experience as a System/Network Administrator or similar role
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean class 4 driver’s license a must
