Key Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates and supervises pipeline pumping programmes and schedules.
- Liaises with relevant stakeholders on operational and personnel matters and plans the manning of shifts and supervision of shift personnel
- Provides management with timely and accurate information relating to the day-to-day operations of the pipeline and plant.
- Coordinates and supervises the planned and breakdown maintenance of the plant and associated facilities.
- Manages and administers the operations of Feruka and Wilton Stations.
- Ensures optimum plant utilisation and availability of resources
- Coordinates and supervises projects as assigned.
- Monitors plant operations and ensures maximum plant and SCADA system uptime.
- Prepares and submits operational reports to management, including pumping and pipeline operations reports.
- Ensures compliance with applicable company policies, operational procedures, safety requirements and management systems.
- Manages operational risks and ensure that all activities are undertaken in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner.

- Knowledge and practical experience in SCADA systems, Siemens being an added advantage.

- A Degree in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
- A recognised professional qualification / membership,
- Master’s degree in Business Administration
- A clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
- At least (10) years working experience in engineering, pipeline operations, plant operations or a related field, of which 5 years must be at management level.
