The primary purpose of this position is to design, develop, maintain, and optimize mobile and web applications that support ZINARA’s revenue systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with organizational standards while enabling the delivery of new digital products and services. The incumbent will be reporting to the Business Development and Innovation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
- Keeping abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Automating code reviews, including style, quality, security, and test coverage checks.
- Monitoring and enforcing code quality standards for all code committed to version control systems.
- Developing and implementing tools and processes that minimize production errors and enhance customer experience.
- Managing software releases, system configurations, monitoring, and support for production environments.
- Deploying new applications, updates, patches, and bug fixes to production environments.
- Monitoring and validating operational performance, reliability, and quality metrics.
- Implementing and maintaining tools that improve defect detection during testing prior to production releases.
- Designing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing configuration, deployment, and delivery pipelines.
- Providing second-level technical support and facilitating collaboration between Development and Operations teams.
- Implementing, communicating, and enforcing departmental policies, processes, and procedures.
- Producing and maintaining accurate technical documentation for systems, processes, and deployments.
Requirements
- Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- 5 Ordinary levels including Mathematics and English.
- 2 A ‘Level passes or equivalent.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Any vocational certification in an Object-Oriented Programming language will be an added advantage.
- Experience and Technical Competencies:
- A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in software development, DevOps, systems development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to develop web and mobile applications.
- Experience in developing APIs and integrating systems with payment gateways and third-party services.
- Knowledge of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment tools, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
