EAGLESVALE CHRISTIAN CO-EDUCATIONAL SENIOR SCHOOL. Applications are invited to fill the position of Deputy Head. This post is offered at the executive level. The Deputy Head will have delegated responsibilities that are both school wide and of considerable weight. The Senior School Deputy Head reports to the Head in all operational matters while playing a key role in the academic vision and direction of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting and Deputising the Head.
  • Implementing policies and strategies as formulated by the organisation.
  • Shall be responsible for the Senior School academic staff performance.
  • Working with the Head to establish key strategic goals for the school, which will be set within the Eaglesvale Schools Strategic Plan framework.
  • Administration of Cambridge Examinations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certification in Secondary Education as a basic qualification.
  • Relevant Bachelor of Education degree from a locally or internationally recognized university.
  • Master’s degree in a related field an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years experience in Independent/ Trust schools at Senior Management level.
  • A high level of computer literacy.
  • Sound knowledge of running Cambridge Examinations.
  • Mature Christian of good standing.
