Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, configure and maintain telecommunications networks and fibre infrastructure.
- Conduct field surveys, site installations and network rollouts.
- Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and network optimisation.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on network equipment.
- Prepare and submit accurate technical reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and organisational procedures.
- Provide technical support during network upgrades, expansions and infrastructure verification.
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Fibre Optic/Communication Engineering or a related discipline.
- Valid EITB registration/practising evidence or recognised equivalent professional engineering registration.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in telecommunications networks, fibre infrastructure, network deployment/operations or infrastructure verification.
