Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position that has arisen in our organization.

The position reports to the Finance Manager.
Major Activities

• Prepare and distribute accurate monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts within set deadlines.
•  Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
•  Supervise intercompany, bank and other reconciliations ensuring that reconciling items are cleared within one month.
• Maintain the asset register, reconciling the Subledger to the General Ledger and properly accounting for revaluation of assets according to applicable reporting standards.
• Supervise Creditors and Debtors ‘s reconciliations ensuring that reconciling items are cleared, and reconciliations are done monthly.
• Ensure that Sales are posted accurately monthly and customer statements are sent every month to respective customers indicating their balances.
•  Make sure that all payments are compliant with PRAZ thresholds and all other requirements before they are processed.
•  Ensure that entries are accurately posted to their respective Ledger accounts in Navision and allocated to respective departments /costing centre.

Qualifications And Experience

 A Minimum of 5 0 levels including Maths, English and science
An Accounting degree plus a professional qualification such as CIS, CIMA, ACCA, CA will be an added advantage.
High level of Computer literacy.
At least 3 years practical experience in a similar position.
Team player and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 45001.
