Key Responsibilities

  • Daily supervision of Security Agents and subcontracted security guards.
  • Supervise, monitor and evaluate the deployment of security personnel in line with assigned duties.
  • Investigate any reported or suspected security breaches and generate reports.
  • Ensures that maintenance and calibration records of security equipment are filed.
  • Supervise the handling, packaging and escorting of outbound/ inbound valuable cargo.
  • Supervise and ensure that firearms that have been cleared in accordance with the SOP are loaded on the aircraft.
  • Supervise and ensure that Security Agents conduct Passenger Manifest Editing to identify passengers destined for high-risk destinations.
  • Supervise and ensure that Security Agents attend customer airlines briefings, prior to the airline’s commencing the passenger acceptance process.
  • Supervise the prepared work schedules/ roster before implementation.
  • Any other duties assigned by your superiors.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Security, Risk Management or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Security/ Risk Management
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Aviation Security and Compliance Agent.
  • Must be conversant with ICAO, IOSA, ISAGO and National Handling Services’ Security regulations and procedures.
  • Conversant with Firearms/ Weapon Handling.
  • Computer literacy is a requirement.
