Duties And Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
i. Ensuring attainment of targeted concentrator plant availability.
Developing and managing the concentrator plant’s annual budget.
iii. Managing the concentrator plant staff, including providing on-the-job training, coaching and mentorship to subordinates.
iv. Managing third party contractors and suppliers and ensuring services rendered are in accordance with expected standards and best practice.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years post learnership experience in a mining environment.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning or Enterprise Asset Management systems and maintenance management.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental systems.
• A Diploma in Project Management is an added advantage.
