Key Responsibilities

  • Provides and promotes a high level of customer care on the shop floor.
  • Conducts research to build and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market developments.
  • Develops and maintains a database of potential and existing customers.
  • Maintains current customer accounts by providing after sales care and product support (software installations, product activation etc.).
  • Assists and guides customers on purchasing decisions.
  • Promotes product knowledge through demonstrations and explanations.
  • Achieves agreed sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Reconciles sales book records in liaison with Accounts Clerks.
  • Arranges stock on display to promote sales and attract customers.
  • Assists with re-ordering of stock as per prescribed stock re-order levels/standards.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in sales/retail in a similar environment.
