INVARIUM SALES OFFICER Invarium Financial Services is recruiting a Sales Officer to originate Hire Purchase business, guide applicants through the onboarding process, and build lasting relationships with customers and dealer partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new Hire Purchase business from walk-in clients, dealer and vendor referrals, digital channels and field prospecting, in line with monthly disbursement targets.
  • Manage digital channels to enhance business development and strengthen customer relations.
  • Guide applicants through the Hire Purchase application and onboarding process, ensuring every submission is complete, accurate and compliant before progressing.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers throughout the application and disbursement process, resolving queries promptly and within agreed service standards.
  • Support customers through the full application journey, from initial enquiry through to offer acceptance, contract signing and vehicle collection.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vehicle dealers, employers, professional associations and other referral partners to grow a consistent pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and provide the Commercial Manager with regular pipeline, conversion and application-status reports.

Requirements

  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, customer service, business origination, banking, microfinance or a related credit environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in vehicle leasing, asset finance, hire purchase, or credit management within Zimbabwe is an added advantage.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of KYC/AML requirements is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in document verification and data capture.
  • Excellent communication skills in at least two languages, including English.
  • Integrity and sound judgement when handling confidential customer and financial information.
