Job Summary
To provide administrative support to the sales team and management as well as support MOHCC in implementing the National Condom MDA workplan.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides support to the sales team to ensure that per- diem and fuel requests, reconciliations and timesheets are correct and submitted on time.
• Coordinates departmental meetings and workshops as well as providing secretarial support to the department.
• Writes reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly reports for use by management and the sales team.
• Produces any required adhoc reports for Market Development Manager, National Sales Coordinator, Social Marketing Director and other departments.
• Represents the department as the main point of contact for customer enquiries regarding orders and quotations for PSH products.
• Submits product requests to the relevant Sales Representative and ensure product is delivered as per customer expectations.
• Maintains and updates a key customer database for CRM use.
• Attends to walk in customers.
• Updates and maintains a proper filing system for all important documents in the department.
• Assists management and Sales Accounting to follow up on outstanding amounts from credit customers and key accounts.
• Conducts tele-sales to get orders from customers.
• Processes requestions, follows them through with Procurement to ensure that Purchase Orders are produced on time.
• Liaises with regional warehouses to ensure that they have sufficient stocks of products and promotional materials to avoid stock outs.
• Supports MoHCC in implementing the MDA workplan.
• Assists MoHCC in coordinating the TWG meetings at national and provincial levels.
• Liaises with marketing in developing and implementing overall condom programme promotion strategies.
• Handles all condom programming data.
• Tracks and monitors implementation of MDA strategy.
Qualifications And Experience
- Diploma in Sales or Marketing (a degree will be an added advantage).
• Knowledge of sales in an FMCG environment.
• 2 years working experience.
• Clean Class 4 Drivers License.
• Excellent computer skills, numerical ability, written and analytical skills.
• Self-starter, detail oriented and team player.
