Position Overview
Cell Insurance Group is seeking a qualified Risk Assessor with a strong nursing background to support health and wellness risk management within its medical aid division. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring claims, managing chronic care programs, and executing workplace wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review claims to detect errors, fraud, and emerging trends
• Pre-authorize hospital admissions and monitor the use of member benefits
• Register and follow up on patients enrolled in chronic disease management programs
• Implement workplace wellness programs for corporate clients
• Investigate healthcare providers and members with irregular claiming patterns

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing (This is a mandatory requirement)
• A Diploma or Degree in Insurance and Risk Management is an added advantage
• Additional qualifications in Theatre Nursing and/or Midwifery are a plus

Experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience in claims investigation, case management, or wellness program implementation within a medical aid environment
• Strong investigative and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Client-oriented approach with proven problem-solving abilities
