* **Job Title:** Restaurant Manager
* **Reporting To:** Operations Manager
* **Location:** Various Locations – Zimbabwe (Harare)

**Main Purpose**
To effectively manage and support restaurant operations within the Casual Dining Division by ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards, operational excellence, people leadership, and superior customer experience in line with Simbisa Brands’ values, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure efficient day-to-day restaurant operations in compliance with Simbisa Brands’ operational standards and procedures.
Lead, coach, and develop teams to deliver consistent service excellence in both Casual Dining and Fine Dining environments.
Drive a high-performance culture through effective people management, discipline, and engagement.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, health, hygiene, and statutory compliance requirements.
Manage labour deployment, rosters, and productivity in line with business needs and labour guidelines.
Monitor stock control, wastage management, and cost containment to protect profitability.
Ensure accurate cash handling, reporting, and compliance with internal control requirements.
Resolve customer complaints professionally, safeguarding brand reputation at all times.
Support implementation of company initiatives, promotions, and operational improvement projects.

Requirements

Minimum of a Diploma in Food and Beverage Management or a related qualification in a relevant field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Sound understanding of Casual Dining and Fine Dining operations and service standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and people-management capabilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
