Key Responsibilities

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, corporate governance standards, and internal policies.
  • Board & Committee Management: Coordinate meetings end-to-end (agendas, packs, resolutions), ensure accuracy, and produce high-quality minutes.
  • Action Tracking & Execution: Maintain action logs, follow up with stakeholders, monitor deadlines, and escalate delays (critical).
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Align governance decisions with departments and reinforce accountability across teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain structured, accurate, and audit-ready governance records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or related field.
  • 3-5 yrs governance/legal/audit experience.
  • Banking/regulated environment preferred
  • Professional qualification e.g. CGI / CA an added advantage
