Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above-mentioned position within the Transport and Logistics Department. The incumbent will report to the Shipping and Distribution Officer and will be based at Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics and Transportation Management
  • Facilitate movement of exports and imports.
  • Routing and scheduling of trucks.
  • Track goods in transit.
  • Raise purchase requisitions manually and computing into SAP.
  • Raise loading instructions in liaison with Shipping and Distributing Officer.
  • Reconcile fuel stocks weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Produce daily stocks report and weekly departmental reports.
  • Perform any other work related duties as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Transport and Logistics or Supply Chain Management or full CILT.
  • Degree in Transport and Logistics or Supply Chain Management an added advantage.
  • 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Qualification in Customs and Logistics or Freight Forward Practice is an added advantage.
  • At least 1 (one) year experience in a practical Transport and Logistics or Distribution environment.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Excellent Computer skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to work extra hours should the need arise.
  • SAP Knowledge is an added advantage.
