About the Attachment Program
The company seeks a motivated Quantity Surveying student to join its technical team for an industrial attachment placement. The role provides hands-on exposure to cost control and contract administration in a live construction environment, offering valuable insights into commercial project delivery under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material schedules, and cost estimates

Support site measurements, valuations, and quantity take-offs

Participate in procurement documentation and supplier evaluations

Help monitor project budgets, track costs, and update material usage

Maintain quantity surveying files, reports, and contractual records
-
Assist in subcontractor procurement and management
-
Perform additional duties as directed by the Quantity Surveyor
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates should:
-
Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Construction Economics
-
Have a strong interest in the commercial aspects of construction
-
Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); knowledge of QS software is an advantage
-
Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and eagerness to learn

Be able to work independently and collaborate within a team setting
