BACKGROUND Mwenezi Development Training Centre (MDTC) is a local based NGO operating in Mwenezi, Masvingo, Chiredzi, and Beitbridge districts. MDTC implements diversified programs to enhance the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. The following vacant position is available from August 2026 to December 2026 POST : PROJECTS OFFICER (Mwenezi x 1) Contract Period:Five (5) Months (August 2026 to December 2026) Reporting to the Finance and Administration Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all organizational projects. Be the link between MDTC, donors and partners.
- Ensure projects are done well, on time, and reported properly.
- Plan and monitor projects and activities carried out at MDTC including Strategic Business Units and donor funded projects.
- Scale agricultural productivity in the fields of poultry, livestock, piggery and horticulture.
- Improve accommodation, conference and catering services at MDTC.
- Liaise with donors, NGOs, Government stakeholders and partners
- Writing and reviewing accurate reports of programme status throughout its life cycle and timely submission
- Track project progress and results
- Writing programme funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Attend donor and partner meetings.
Requirements
- Degree in Development, Agriculture, Social sciences.
- Possession of a higher qualification is an added advantage.
- At least three (3) years’ experience working on similar position.
- Good proposal and report writing skills.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Computer literate: word, excel.
- Willing to travel to project sites.
- Possession of a motorbike licence is an added advantage.
