The role ensures projects are completed safely, within approved specifications, according to schedule, and in line with relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Convert approved project scopes into daily, weekly, and monthly work programmes.
Track project milestones against approved schedules and Gantt charts.
Coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure work progresses as planned.
Identify delays early and implement corrective actions promptly.
Supervise civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping contractors on site.
Ensure contractors follow approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Verify compliance with Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and approved project scopes.
Monitor the use of labour, materials, equipment, and other resources.
Inspect structural, piping, mechanical, and pressure-vessel installations.
Ensure all construction activities meet approved engineering drawings and regulatory standards.
Monitor site HSE practices and ensure contractors comply with company requirements.
Identify and report defects, unsafe practices, and deviations from specifications.
Supervise pressure testing, including pneumatic and hydrostatic testing where applicable.
Coordinate purging, inerting, calibration, testing, and commissioning activities.
Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation.
Manage punch lists and ensure defects/snags are resolved before handover.
Coordinate final handover to the relevant operational department.
Prepare weekly project progress reports.
Verify contractor payment certificates against completed work.
Identify and report potential variations early.
Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation.

Requirements

Relevant project management qualification
3-5 years experience in engineering, construction, plant installation, or technical project supervision
Experience supervising civil/structural/mechanical/ electrical/piping contractors
Practical exposure to LPG installations, bulk tanks, pipework, pressure testing, and plant modifications (advantage)
Knowledge of construction quality control, HSE requirements, and statutory compliance
Experience with project scheduling, cost monitoring, contractor payment certificates, and variation control
Strong site supervision, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
